CM Exclusive: Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj only wants AC Milan move

By Isak Möller -

Milan Badelj wants to leave Fiorentina and La Viola are set to meet the player and his entourage soon to see if there is any chance to keep the player at the club.

Fiorentina sporting director Carlos Freitas has already revealed that Fiorentina will do everything they can to keep the player at the club but the Croatia International doesn’t want to extend his stay at the club signing a new contract.

Club’s general manager Pantaleo Corvino is due to meet the 27-year-old in the next few days, meantime calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that Badelj has refused an offer of Borussia Monchengladbach as he’s waiting for an official offer from AC Milan.

Spurs are also believed to be interested though the Spurs have yet to make contact with the former Hamburg SV man.

Montella has shortlisted Badelj as a potential reinforcement for AC Milan’s midfield alongside Piotr Zielinski, but the Rossoneri can finalize no deals until the Chinese consortium completes the club’s takeover.
