CM: Four players who impressed and one who struggled in 5-0 win over Wolfsberger

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan put their poor performance against ZTE at the weekend firmly behind them as they impressed with a 5-0 rout of Wolfsberger tonight.

Calciomercato.com have picked out four players who impressed for the Rossoneri during the victory – which brings an end to the retreat in Austria – as well as someone who didn’t quite hit the same levels.

Yacine Adli: The Frenchman was the man of the match showing his technique, confidence, awareness and intelligence.

Rafael Leao: The winger scored the goal that unlocked the match against the Austrian side, and his constant urgency to make something happen with his runs from the left showed Leao has every intention of continuing in his exponential growth.

Theo Hernandez: It took him a little over two weeks to return to top physical condition, but he looked very promising tonight. He provided the assist for Messias’ goal showing his overwhelming power and pace in the process.

Pierre Kalulu: The young French defender got back into match rhythm nicely. He did well in the build-up phase spraying some long passes, and was always reactive on the second balls.

Davide Calabria: A splendid ball in behind put Leão in on goal and aside from that the Italian was always looking to get up and down the right side, performing his defensive tasks and helping attacking moves.

Ismael Bennacer: The one slightly less positive note. He was very good in recovering balls in the first half hour of the match, but less so in distribution which was untidy.
