After what has been an impressive season so far, Milan will now enter a decisive phase that could decide the outcome, as well as their plans for the future. In fact, the battle lies both on and off the pitch.
As highlighted by today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri will have to focus on their performances on the pitch, but also the renewals off it. It’s a double game for Milan, as the newspaper explains it.
The final sprint on the pitch starts with the game against Spezia this evening, with the goal being Champions League qualification. The dream, of course, is to keep first place and win the Scudetto at the end of the season.
This dream is very much alive and while Stefano Pioli’s men will have to focus on the games, the Rossoneri management will be busy negotiating with agents. The hottest issues concern Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Gigio Donnarumma.
