AC Milan are battling Napoli and Inter for the signature of a Fiorentina midfielder, according to a report.
Friday’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport claims that the Rossoneri are eyeing a move for Jordan Veretout in January as they aim to bolster their midfield for the second part of the season.
The report claims that Leonardo is plotting a bid for the Frenchman, and that a potential deal could cost around €25m.
Despite comments from the leadership suggesting that January business won’t happen without exits, it is believed that the fee is easily attainable.
However, Milan are not alone in their pursuit of the 25-year-old, with competition expected from both Napoli and fierce city rivals Inter.
