Liverpool’s reported agreement for Roma star Alisson could have a knock-on effect on AC Milan, if reports are to be believed.
According to Wednesday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Milan could get caught up in the current whirlwind of elite goalkeepers happening in Europe.
Premier League giants Liverpool have apparently sealed a £66million deal for Alisson, with the Brazil international set to fly to England for a medical with an announcement due before the weekend.
Meanwhile, Chelsea could be set to lose their star keeper in Thibaut Courtois, with Real Madrid close to closing the deal.
They were viewing Alisson as a possible replacement, while Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen has been linked, but CorSport suggestes Rossoneri star Gianluigi Donnarumma is also being considered.
New Blues boss Maurizio Sarri could focus his attentions on the teenager, who is valued by Milan at €60million, reports claim.
It is not the only transfer rumours relating to AC Milan and Chelsea on Wednesday, with other speculation suggesting that the Diavolo want Alvaro Morata, and other reports claiming that Milan are in for Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain.
