GdS: Estimated recovery times for injured Milan players – trio could return soon

By Isak Möller -

Milan currently have six players on the injury list, having struggled with absences throughout the season. It seems whenever a player returns, another is forced to stop in what has become an evil circle.

As pointed out by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), three players could be ready after the international break: Mario Mandzukic, Daniel Maldini and Ante Rebic. The latter, of course, is suspended and will miss the game against Samp.

However, when it comes to Alessio Romagnoli and Rafael Leao, they could be out for another 20 days. This means they could perhaps be back for the game against Parma, but it remains a stretch as things stand.

It will be extra interesting to see Mandzukic in action as we have barely seen him play since he arrived in January. With the current goalscoring struggles, Milan could use his experience along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack.
