The AC Milan leaders had a meeting with the players and head coach Marco Giampaolo before training on Tuesday, a report claims.
The Rossoneri have had their worst start to a season since 1938-39, and speculation is growing that Milan could sack Marco Giampaolo if he does not win against Genoa on Saturday.
A report from MilanNews.it on Monday evening stated that an important meeting would be held at Milanello on Tuesday in which the club’s directors will talk to the coach on the team.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) that meeting did take place, with Giampaolo arriving two hours before the players did at 10:30am.
Directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara also arrived at the training ground, while Zvonomir Boban was absent.
After a half-hour meeting in the locker room, the team started the session shortly after 11am, the report adds.
