AC Milan’s Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli are working hard to extend the contract of Suso, who they would like to tie down for five years.
Today’s edition of Italian newspaper La Gazzetta Dello Sport, claims that Milan have taken big steps towards the renewal of Suso’s contract, whose current contract expires in 2019.
The Spanish winger is expected to sign a five-year contract in the coming days, which will see him earn €3m per year instead of his current salary of €1.2m per year.
Suso has been the key part of Milan’s start to this Serie A season, having been directly involved in four goals (2 goals, 2 assists), out of five possible. With that said, it’s no surprise that Milan are willing to give him a big raise, which he deserves more than any other player in the squad.
AC Milan’s next game is against Lazio on Sunday, which will kick-off at 15:00 CET.
