With just one day left until the derby, Stefano Pioli has a pretty good idea of which players he will field on the pitch for the big clash. Although there was some doubt about the left-wing, that has been settled now.
According to Claudio Raimondi of SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Ante Rebic has won the battle over Rafael Leao, who played from start in the reverse fixture. Both of them played 45 minutes each mid-week and the Croatian impressed the most.
The attacking trio, therefore, will consist of Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ante Rebic. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start up front and he will need some good service from the players behind him to get on target.
Having said that, Rafael Leao could be very useful for Milan during the game, as he could threaten the Inter defence with pace and acceleration. This is always good to have, especially when the opponents are tired.
