MilanNews writes that during the presentation of the event, the nomination for the Top 11 of Serie A was also drawn up with Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao as well as former midfielder Franck Kessie all featuring.

Goalkeepers: Maignan, Handanovic, Vicario.

Defenders: Cuadrado, Di Lorenzo, Theo, Skriniar, Tomori, Bremer, Dumfries, Koulibaly.

Midfield: Brozovic, Tonali, Perisic, Kessie, Milinkovic-Savic, Calhanoglu, Pellegrini, Barella.

Attack: Immobile, Lautaro, Osimhen, Vlahovic, Leao, Dybala.

The three teams nominated for the ‘best club’ award are Milan – who are of course the Campione d’Italia – as well as Inter who won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia plus Roma who won the Conference League.

Stefano Pioli received a nomination for best coach of the last season along with Simone Inzaghi and José Mourinho.

Among the nominees for men’s goal of the season was also the one from Theo Hernandez against Atalanta, when the Milan full-back dribbled almost the entire field before netting to make it 2-0.

  1. Inter-players over-represented. If they were so f’ng awesome, why didn’t they win the scudetto? Oh yeah, because Milan was a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better team and deserved to win it. Plus Inter had Calanogelu or whatever.
