AC Milan have got the best record against the top eight teams in Serie A out of all of their direct rivals, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri have managed to score 10 points in the five games that they have played this season against the top eight teams. Milan have played more games against the top eight than anyone else so far.
Milan have drawn 1-1 against Atalanta, beaten Inter 3-2 in the Derby della Madonnina, lost 2-1 to Napoli at San Siro, beaten Juventus 2-0 and beaten Udinese 4-2 on the opening day of the season.
It is a record that will give the team and Stefano Pioli plenty of confidence as they head into the future big clashes, although it is a record that can still be improved.
The Rossoneri will know that winning the next clash against Napoli when it comes around could be vital given they are leading the way.
