The Corriere claims that with Javier Mascherano heading for the exit door (likely to Juventus), the Catalans are looking for a strong option at centre-back.
Reports from Spain have Romagnoli ahead of PSG’s Marquinhos, and Lyon’s Samuel Umtiti.
The 21-year-old made 40 appearances for the Rossoneri in all competitions this season, scoring twice in the Coppa Italia in an impressive debut season with the club.
