Former Milan product, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has long been on the shortlist for the Rossoneri. Since departing the player has developed into one of the top strikers in the world today. A return home would be revered by all fans.
The deal was thought to be long abandoned as Borussia Dortmund refused to raise their foot on the price for the player. Additionally the player himself is demanding a rumored €12 million per year contract.
While Aubameyang is absolutely worth the money, it seems Milan are not willing to pay the player this much. That does not mean they have given up on trying to sign the player.
The plan is to still acquire him for a strike duo of Andre Silva and the Gabon international. Time will tell if Milan can capture the goal scorer but one thing is certain; Milan still want to sign another striker for this transfer window.
