MN: Milan will be without nine senior players for Roma clash

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have got nine players that Stefano Pioli will not be able to call upon for the big match against AS Roma on Sunday night, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, whilst Pioli does have an almost full-strength eleven ready to play against the Giallorossi, many of his backup options are not going to be involved.

The major absentee from the first team is Mike Maignan whose return date is still unclear. Along with him, the likes of Ante Rebic, Divock Origi and Junior Messias would normally provide more options in attack for Pioli.

Rae Krunic is missing as a midfield option, whilst he cannot call upon Simon Kjaer, Alessandro Florenzi or Fode Ballo-Toure in the defence.

The biggest name that is out injured is Zlatan Ibrahimovic although it should not be too long before he is back in action for the Diavolo after a long injury layoff.
