AC Milan director Massimiliano Mirabelli has confirmed that the club are interested in signing Nikola Kalinic, Diego Costa and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Rossoneri are in the market for a new striker to compliment the arrival of Porto star Andre Silva along with the other additions this summer.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move to the San Siro over the past few weeks, and now Mirabelli has confirmed that it would be “fate” for the Gabon international to return.
“Aubameyang would be fate: he was the first player I went to see live, my first [scouting] trip was for him,” the sporting director told QS.
“New striker? We’re working on it and we can’t mess up: Kalinic and Diego Costa are on our list.
“Guarantees? Are [people] aware of what’s been said? If you sign Bonucci and Biglia, you know what you’re doing.
“The turning point of the summer was Donnarumma, a conquest on which to build everything else.”
Mirabelli also commented on other names linked to the club: “Ibra, Belotti & other strikers linked to Milan? They are different players, none of them have the class of Zlatan.
“However, Ibrahimovic is an individualist. He is well beyond the team’s needs.”
