MN: Latest updates on Hauge, Leao, Romagnoli and more as Milan evaluate exits

By Isak Möller -

In addition to reinforcing the squad with signings this summer, Milan will be looking to collect some cash from a few departures. Several players have been linked with an exit and new updates have emerged on the matter.

As MilanNews reports, it will be important for the Rossoneri to secure some sales this summer. Above all, getting the redundancies out of the club will be the priority, while there are some potential starters that could leave as well.

Diego Laxalt: The left-back is destined to leave the club after spending this past season on loan at Celtic. He’s one step away from Dynamo Moscow and the Rossoneri should get around €3.5m from his sale.

Rafael Leao: The youngster has a lot of potential and the management believes in him, but he has to show more. Having said that, he isn’t unsellable and any offer that arrives will be evaluated, with interest in England.

Jens Petter Hauge: His future is yet to be decided as there will be a meeting between him and the management after the vacation. Wolfsburg are interested and have also met the agent of the winger, who could leave on loan.

Andrea Conti: He joined Parma on loan in January and he’s not expected to be at Milan for long, destined to leave again. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will work with his agent to find the best solution. Genoa are one of the teams interested.

Mattia Caldara: Atalanta decided not to redeem him after 18 months and he will thus return to Milan. There have already been inquiries, even from abroad, but the Rossoneri’s plan is to evaluate his physical condition first.

Alessio Romagnoli: His contract will expire in 2022 so without a renewal, Milan could be forced to sell him this summer. Barcelona are one of the teams interested but a renewal is also possible still.
