Paqueta believes Milan can beat Juve as ‘Ibrahimovic is back’ and ‘we are confident’

By Isak Möller -

After the important 3-0 win against Lazio last night, AC Milan are now gearing up to take on Juventus on Tuesday evening. The Rossoneri have certainly earned themselves a confidence boost ahead of what will be a tough game.

Lucas Paqueta is one of the players who could play from the first minute against Juventus, having impressed with his last two performances. He came off the bench against Lazio and did well to cover for the injured Hakan Calhanoglu on the left flank.

In a long interview with Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), which you can read in full here, the Brazilian midfielder was asked about the upcoming game and Milan’s chances of claiming all three points. By the looks of it, he is very confident.

“Juventus? We had a great game against them in the Coppa Italia, now Ibrahimovic is back who is very strong, we are confident, we think we can win,” he stated.

It remains to be seen if Stefano Pioli will give him the chance from start, as a lot will depend on the condition of Hakan Calhanoglu. In any case, the Rossoneri will try their best to secure yet another win.
