Simon Kjaer sustained a serious injury in AC Milan’s win against Genoa, leaving a bitter aftertaste to what was a good result for the Rossoneri. He had surgery yesterday and will miss the rest of the season.
The Dane went in for a challenge and completely missed, falling to the ground. He was stretchered off and tests revealed serious injuries to his anterior cruciate ligament and the medial collateral ligament, which were fixed yesterday.
