Report: Barcelona could loan young defender to AC Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Barcelona could be set to loan defender Jean-Clair Todibo to AC Milan in order to get him more game time, a report claims.

The Rossoneri’s mercato is beginning to heat up. Angel Correa is expected to arrive from Atletico Madrid for a fee of over €40m, while Andre Silva is set for a €30m move to Monaco to help fund the Argentine’s arrival.

Theo Hernandez and Rade Krunic have already arrived from Real Madrid and Empoli respectively, while 2019 AFCON Player of the Tournament Ismael Bennacer is expected to follow Krunic to San Siro.

The hard work is set to continue for Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and Boban though, as they are seemingly desperate to give head coach Marco Giampaolo a new centre-back.

Dejan Lovren and Merih Demiral have been mentioned as possible targets recently, but France Football have now linked Milan with a move for Barcelona’s Todibo.

The Catalan club could choose to loan the 19-year-old out as they want him to gain experience after he made just two LaLiga appearances since his €1m arrival from Toulouse in January.
