CM: At least seven players at risk as Milan plot summer revamp of squad

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management are getting ready to refresh the squad ahead of next season and there are a number of names who could leave, a report claims.

As Calciomercato.com report, over the coming summer Milan will carry on decisive work on the renewal of the team and there are several players who already have their suitcases packed ready to leave.

It starts with the players who are currently on loans which expire at the end of the season in Sergino Dest, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Brahim Diaz, who are all at present expected to return to Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid respectively.

Ciprian Tatarusanu’s contract expires and he will not be renewed, while Ante Rebic, Fode Ballo-Toure, Yacine Adli and Divock Origi are also in the balance, which means that at present there are as many as seven players who could leave and in theory would need replacing by new signings.

  1. Finally. We well not see any more the names like: Dest, Bakayoko, and let just be honest, Brahim Diaz is not superstar. If we remember Diaz played so many games without impact and we all was piss*ng off. Diaz had luck because De Ketelaere is still too scared on Serie A.

Now if we mange to sell Origi, Rebic, Fode Ballo Toure – that is excellent news. You save more than 10 million euros in gross salary and you can bring 2 good players.

Adli should be sent on loan. He is young and cheap.

Now, if Milan bring just 4 players for good rotation, you can see all new players doesn’t need to be “superstars” because all players that are mentioned above are without any impact. No goals, no assists, no good defence player, nothing.

I think club can’t miss by releasing those 6.

  2. Oli, you forgot about the big fish we getting rid of. MATTIA CALDARA 20 mil for 0 games in the 5 years.

I think we manage like 3-4 mil to scrap from that with the loans but that’s about it
