SM: Six Milan players a card away from suspension against Atalanta

By Euan Burns -

It is going to be a nervy watch for Stefano Pioli on Sunday when AC Milan take on Atalanta for more than one reason, a report claims.

As has been reported by SempreMilan.it, the Rossoneri have got six players that are one yellow card away from a one-game suspension.

Not only are there six players, but some of Milan’s most important performers are also on the list. Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao are both going to be missing a game through suspension at some point soon but Pioli will not want it to be the same game for both of them.

The four other players are Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Rade Krunic and Ante Rebic. That means it is primarily forwards that are at risk of suspension.

The next Serie A game after Atalanta is the trip south to face Fiorentina. Whilst they are not an easy opponent to face, Pioli will be glad Milan are not facing one of their Champions League qualification rivals.

  1. Both of should get a Yellow against fiorentina so they can be rested after a UCL match, CDK should be played as a Striker against Salernitana and Origi on the wing… they should pull the match out
