Sky: AC Milan in talks with Antonio Conte

By Ahmed Bdair -

Sky Italia have reported that frequent contacts have been made between Milan and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s camp over potentially replacing under-fire manager Vincenzo Montella.

Rumors have been swirling for some time and have been fueled by the tenuous relationship between Conte and trigger-happy Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic, and the fact that Conte has made it clear that he would like to manage in Italy once again in the near future.

Conte had previously won three consecutive Scudetti with Juventus as well as reaching the quarterfinals with the Italian national team at Euro 2016, before moving to Chelsea and winning the Premier League title in his first season.

Now, Sky Italia reports that contacts have been made by AC Milan to lure the Italian manager back to Italy for next season. The Rossoneri are said to be optimistic.
