Sky: Hernandez to start against Torino; Bennacer and Leao also in

By Oliver Fisher -

Theo Hernandez is expected to start over Ricardo Rodriguez in Thursday night’s game against Torino, a report claims.

The Rossoneri head to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino looking to put Saturday’s Derby della Madonnina defeat to Inter firmly behind them and rack up their third win of the season.

A lot of the speculation in the build up to the fixture has been about Marco Giampaolo’s selection, with the head coach under scrutiny having seen his side score just once from open play in the first four games.

Wednesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Giampaolo would stick with a 4-3-1-2, while on Thursday they claimed that Rodriguez was favourite to start over Hernandez.

They also stated that Lucas Biglia would start ahead of Ismael Bennacer – a decision which he made for the derby and reportedly left the club’s hierarchy upset.

According to the reliable Sky Italia though – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Giampaolo will start summer signing Hernandez over Rodriguez at left-back.

Meanwhile, Bennacer currently has a slight advantage over Biglia in the regista position and is expected to start, while Rafael Leao will be in the front three.
