AC Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has been left out of the squad for the USA tour, a report claims.
According to Sky Italia, the former Milan captain will not travel with the rest of his team-mates to the International Champions Cup.
The decision is described as a technical choice andu not down to fitness, while Sky go on to claim that he is not part of Gennaro Gattuso’s plans for next season.
Montolivo played 27 minutes in Friday’s 2-0 win over Novara at Milanello.
