A club legend for city rival’s Inter Milan has offered his services to the red side of the city. The midfielder was key to Inter’s treble success many years ago.
Currently playing for Turkish league side, Galatasaray, Wesley has scored 35 goals in 122 appearances of the club. He has represented the Dutch national team since 2003 and is an open fan of AC Milan. This would not be the first time his services have been offered.
Reports from Tancredi Palmeri suggest Milan have shut down the proposal but yet reports from Sky Sports News suggests the entourage of the player will meet with Milan officials tomorrow.
No concrete details of the negotiations are in the open yet but the former Inter legend would be a welcomed addition to the Milan reserves as depth is something needed within the club. Sneijder would follow in the footsteps of many previous Dutch men to dawn the Red and Black jersey.
