AC Milan close to completing deal for Kessie after positive meeting

By Isak Möller -

Today, both Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli met with representatives of Atalanta to discuss a potential move for Franck Kessie.

The meeting was positive and Milan decided to offer the same amount as Roma, €28m, according to Sky Italia. As things stand, the San Siro side are in the lead ahead of Roma, much due to the fact that they already have an agreement with the player.

The clubs could meet again after they face each other next week.

Milan also spoke with Atalanta about Petagna, with Milan receiving 50% of any future sale this year & 30% of any future sale next year, as agreed when the Rossoneri sold Petagna.
