Milan are on the look for a new striker to replace the outgoing Carlos Bacca. In the past days Marco Fassone and Masimilliano Mirabelli have registered interest in the likes of Aubameyang, Belotti or Kalinic. But now it seems that Andre Silva from Porto is in pole position for the striker spot.
According to Milannews.it, Mirabelli and Fassone are currently meeting Jorge Mendes to find an agreement for the young Portuguese forward, who is open to a move to the club.
Milan want to accelerate the deal. Silva has a €60 million release clause in his contract, but the Rossoneri aim to bring down the price to €45-50 million.
Another name is expected to be discussed between the three – James Rodriguez. However, as of now he remains a complicated target, with Manchester United and Chelsea heavily interested in the Colombian.
Nevertheless, Fassone and Mirabelli are not stopping in their attempts to strengthen the team, looking to bring in a strong forward and other players for Vincenzo Montella.
