The long saga for Andrea Conti and AC Milan is finally over according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The player will arrive tomorrow for his athletic test and the medicals and contract signing will be friday.
Conti was given the Sportitalia award for best defender of the 2016 – 2017 season. While accepting the reward he mentioned following his dreams and playing for Milan. As he exited the stage he made sure to shake the hands of both Massimo Mirabelli and Marco Fassone on his way out.
The deal is told to be €24 million plus Matteo Pessina will join Atalanta as well. The fullback’s arrival will mark the seventh signing for Milan this summer and likely will not be the last.
Mirabelli stated that once Conti is done, Milan will evaluate the budget and look at selling players before moving for more. Today it was revealed that there are interests in other midfield players besides Biglia. Expect more big things from Milan this summer.
