AC Milan director of sports Massimiliano Mirabelli will be at the Juventus Stadium tonight, during the Champions League game between the Serie A title holders and Ligue 1 giants Lyon.
Mirabelli, former Inter chief scout, has just been appointed as new AC Milan DS and is already travelling around Italy and the rest of Europe to scout the best potential reinforcements for the Rossoneri.
Sources have exclusively told calciomercato.com that Mirabelli will be scouting Lyon star Nabil Fekir during tonight’s Champions League game between Juventus and Lyon.
Fekir, 23, can play as a second striker or winger and his versatility would be perfect for Vincenzo Montella’s AC Milan, that are looking to add some depth and quality to their squad. He’s a talented left-footed striker, and he also has stunning one-on-one dribbling skills and Mirabelli had already scouted him when he was working for Inter.
The player, however, sustained a serious knee injury last term, preventing the Nerazzurri from making concrete offers for the French striker.
Fekir’s Lyon contract expires in June 2020, but he is not the only player under contract with the Ligue 1 giants that AC Milan have an interest in. Maxime Gonalons and Corentin Tolisso are also known to be targets of the Rossoneri.
