Former Chelsea manager likely to replace Gattuso

By Anthony Torgrude -

Current Milan skipper and club legend, Gennaro Gattuso took over just midway through last season and after a successful spell was confirmed until 2021. Recent form has cast doubt over his position and his successor may be found.

Antonio Conte is a free agent with an impressive resume. Milan may be looking to secure his services for the 2019-2020 season according to Corriere della Sera. This comes as the manager was released from his duties at Chelsea FC in place of Maurizio Sarri who has found great form with the premier league side.

Conte has won three Serie A titles with Juventus in addition to two Supercoppa Italiana, a Serie B title with Bari and a Premier League and Fa Cup triumph with Chelsea.

Gattuso is a fan favourite but if this run of form continues then a replacement is almost certain to come sooner rather than later for the former midfielder.
