GdS: The four Milan players Pioli considers the core of his team

New AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will look to four key players to help transform the club’s fortunes, a report claims.

The Rossoneri confirmed the sacking of Marco Giampaolo last week after just 111 days in charge – the shortest reign of any manager in the club’s history.

Former Lazio, Inter and Fiorentina boss Pioli signed a two-year deal with Milan which includes a couple of interesting clauses, and he has the job of transforming a group that has struggled so far this season.

Milan have lost four games out of seven to start the campaign but sit just four points from Napoli in fourth.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), the Milan of Pioli Milan ‘will restart from quality’. 

The head coach is ready to give put his full confidence in four players to help lead the resurgence: namely Suso, Rafael Leao, Lucas Paqueta and Theo Hernandez.
