With the Financial Fair Play saga seemingly in the rear-view mirror, AC Milan can once again turn their attentions to the mercato.

According to Milan-based newspaper il Giornale, Milan will focus on getting a marquee striker once the organisational chart has been sorted and a new club president appointed.

The desire is to give coach Gennaro Gattuso a valuable attacker, with Gonzalo Higuain, Ciro Immobile and Alvaro Morata in the running.

First, however, Milan must sell Nikola Kalinic to Atletico Madrid, André Silva to either Wolves or Monaco and Carlos Bacca to Villarreal or Nacional Medellin.
