Lazio president blocks Juventus move for Keita Balde

AC Milan have according to Sky Italia reached an agreement with Lazio for Keita Balde, valued at around €50m (also includes Lucas Biglia). Today’s reports suggest that Lazio won’t accept a move to Juventus for Keita.

The Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero reports that Lazio president Lotito has an agreement with AC Milan, while Keita’s agent has an agreement with Juventus. However, Lotito has told Keita to sign with Milan, renew his contract with Lazio or sit in the stands for a year.

The reason behind this is said to be Juventus’ offer for Keita, which according to Il Messaggero was “insulting”, as it was only valued at €12m, while Milan have offered around €25-30m for the player.

Moreover, MilanNews.it add that AC Milan will meet with Keita’s agent today, in order to reach an agreement with the player. In the end, it will be up to the player to decide, but it seems Juventus is no longer a possible destination.
