Mediaset: Nikola Kalinic to AC Milan is a done deal

By Isak Möller -

Just in, Nikola Kalinic’s transfer to Milan from Fiorentina is all done. The clubs have agreed on a fee for the Croatian striker, who will be announced by the Rossoneri soon.

Sportmediaset reports that Nikola Kalinic will be AC Milan’s next signing. The Rossoneri have found an agreement with Fiorentina, and it looks like the deal will cost around €20-25m plus Luca Antonelli.

Kalinic has been one of Milan’s targets for months now, but finally, the deal is done. At first, Fiorentina requested too much for the player. However, now that they’ve signed a replacement in Giovanni Simeone, they also slightly dropped their demands for Kalinic, who rejected a move to Everton for Milan.

€20-25m plus Antonelli is not a fantastic price, but it’s clear that Montella really wants to the player. Understandably so, as the Croatian fits his system very well.

Carlos Bacca, meanwhile, is on his way out. Villarreal have shown their interest according to Sky, and are ready to sign him on loan plus an obligation to buy.
