Milan back in the race for Lazio star

By Nikita Fesyukov -

For a long time Milan have been interested in Keita Balde from Lazio. The Rossoneri even reached an agreement with the Biancocelesti, but reportedly the deal did not go through due to the player’s will to join Juventus. Now, however, it looks that Milan have renewed the interest in the Senegalese attacker.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are back in the race for Keita, who seems destined to leave this summer, as contract renewal talks have been refused by the player himself. Juventus and Inter are the other teams strongly interested in Keita.

The paper also reports that Milan are ready to meet Lazio’s asking price €30 million, which was reiterated by Fassone in a phone call with Claudio Lotito. Juventus, meanwhile, are only offering a figure of around €15 million.

However, it will not be an easy deal to work out, as Keita prefers a move to Juventus, despite their low offer. The Italian champions are waiting for the asking price to drop, while Milan and Inter remain at the window waiting for developments.
