MN: Giroud trains alone again as Rebic gears up for a start against Udinese

By Oliver Fisher -

With just two days left until AC Milan begin their new season against Udinese, updates have arrived on the fitness of several players.

According to MilanNews, the Milan squad had their training session at San Siro today to get used to the pitch ahead of Saturday’s game, but Olivier Giroud continued with his individual work.

The Frenchman is aiming to train with the rest of the squad tomorrow but given that it will just be one day before the game, Ante Rebic’s chances of starting the game against Udinese as the striker have increased.

Charles De Ketelaere has also done some personalised work, but it is only part of the plans for him as there is no injury. Divock Origi has instead trained with the entire team and should be called up for the game against the Friulians.

Sandro Tonali and Zlatan Ibrahimovic remained at Milanello instead to do individual work. Stefano Pioli’s team will have lunch at the stadium and then meet again tomorrow.
