MN: Latest on the condition of Origi, Rebic, Tonali, Calabria, Maignan and Theo

By Oliver Fisher -

Training got back underway at Milanello today as the AC Milans players who are not with their national teams began preparing for the trip to face Empoli.

MilanNews have provided an update on the injury situation surrounding the various players that have sustained problems since the defeat against Napoli that came prior to the international break.

Theo Hernandez is continuing his injury recovery program and there are still no indications regarding the timing for his return, as the Frenchman did individual work in the gym today.

Ante Rebic is moving towards finally making his full return as he did mixed custom work both in the gym and on the field, while Divock Origi did the same.

Davide Calabria came off at half-time in the Napoli game but the good news is he worked with the rest of the squad in today’s session and is therefore fully recovered.

Sandro Tonali did custom but there is optimism about his situation. Finally, Mike Maignan continued with the therapies he is undergoing, and the return of the players who are in their national teams is scheduled for tomorrow.
