Pellegatti: Two done deals, Giroud, Hauge, Leao and Pobega dilemma – latest on Milan’s mercato

By Oliver Fisher -

An update on AC Milan’s transfer market plans has arrived from journalist Carlo Pellegatti, with some news on signings and potential sales.

Carlo Pellegatti spoke on his YouTube channel (via MilanLive) and took stock of the Milan mercato, confirming that today is the day that the signing of Sandro Tonali should be made official and the midfielder will be present at Milanello tomorrow for the start of preseason training.

After him Brahim Diaz should arrive too as his return from Real Madrid has been agreed, then it will be the turn of Olivier Giroud plus the renewal of Kessie. For the Frenchman, his situation will be discussed around July 20-25, which is normal after the European Championships.

He adds that Pioli will be required to evaluate players like Hauge, Leao and Pobega, who will be at Milanello from day one. The coming days are important ones for the letter, with Milan reflecting on whether to keep him or sell him for a capital gain.

A player who scores goals from midfield is certainly worth a lot though and the first days of the summer will be used to understand if his use will be useful in Pioli’s system. Given the players still away, Pobega will have the chance to show off.

  1. What will Pioli judge hahahaha, Pioli is an idiot like you journalist Carlo Pellegatti. Olivier Giroud is forgotten and Milan will never try the crazy idea to bring him again. It was a bad assessment of Milan but to the satisfaction of the fans the old retired Frenchman will not play in Mialno. by August 1, it will declare whether it will sign the contract that Milan gave 3.5 million. If there are no signatures, Kesie will be on sale from August 1. And most importantly, Milan still has an open line to change coaches in January.
