Roma eye Suso as Salah replacement

By SempreMilan -

After a stellar season for Suso, it seemed obvious that the player would be a hot object on this summer’s transfer market.

Sky reports that Roma are looking to make Suso Salah’s replacement. Salah is linked with a move to Liverpool and Roma are looking to sell the player by June 30 as they have to comply with FIFA Financial Fair Play.

Suso has been a main man for the Rossoneri this season and fits in well with coach Montella’s style of play. The player has had a stellar campaign by scoring 7 goals and providing 9 assists in 34 Seria A appearances.

It is unlikely that the player will join Roma as Milan consider him unsellable. Montella sees him as a key figure in the squad and being only 23-years-old, Milan consider him a player for the future as well.

It’s also unlikely that Milan would sell a key player to a direct Champions League rival. Suso has a contract with Milan until 2019 and it seems that Milan are looking to award the player with a new contract with fresh terms after they get done with their work in the transfer window.
