By Isak Möller -

Suso spoke to Spanish newspaper Marca about his future, where he revealed that he wants to bring Milan back to the Champions League, among other things.

Do you miss Spain?

“Well, I am now in Cadiz with my family and my friends and I’m enjoying it very much with. In Milan, I feel very comfortable and it’s a big city. Now I really do not have any plan on going back to Spain.”

Do you think you have the ability to play for Madrid, Barca or Atletico?

“I believe that yes, I’m demonstrating that step by step. It’s early, but I’ve been with Barça and Madrid players in the National team. I’ve always shown that the ability is there. Maybe it’s a bit early because I have to keep growing.”

Who is the best football player you have ever played with?

“Luiz Suarez.”

What do you ask for in 2017?

“Good health, staying away from injuries. I also want to bring AC Milan back to the Champions League. Last but not least, I want to get the call from the National team.”

“Last November I was in the pre-squad [of Spain] but in the end, I wasn’t called up. However, I received a letter from the federation that said that the pre-squad situation was important because what I was doing was seen by the federation and that they’re beginning to count on me.”

“Julen [Lopetegui] knows me since I was with the youth NT. I was with him in the U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21.”

What do you not want to retire without?

“Play in a Champions League final, play in the World Cup and in the Euros.”
