Take a look at the latest transfer rumours as SempreMilan.com’s columnist, Vito Angele, recaps the day.
BLITZ IN GERMANY
Massimo Mirabelli’s exploratory weekend in Germany has served to lay the foundations for the future: Milan is already thinking about next season. In fact, many players were observed by the Rossoneri director including Max Meyer, a young midfielder at Schalke 04. The German talent, already in the national team, could be signed for nothing given that his contract expires in the summer.
In addition to Meyer, Mirabelli has also set his sights on Julian Weigl – a midfielder with huge talent who is currently at Borussia Dortumund – and Julian Brandt, a winger with unquestionable potential.
In addition, links have resurfaced with Kerem Demirbay, a Turkish midfielder with important physical and technical characteristics. He plays at Hoffenheim and at the moment he is out with a small injury. In the immediate future there should not be any incoming transactions except for last-minute deals.
BOCA CLOSE IN ON GUSTAVO
The return of Gustavo Gomez in Argentina is now a matter of a few days away: the distance between the two clubs has been almost completely filled.
It is likely that the Paraguay international will join on loan with the obligation of redemption linked to appearances. Milan hopes to get at least €6-7million; Boca, for now, is still standing at €5m.
Finally, with regards to the sales of Gabriel Paletta and José Mauri, at the moment everything is still blocked. The young Niccolo Zanellato could also leave on loan.
SUSO STAYS, BUT…
Meanwhile, a statement appeared on social media in which Suso has made clarity about his future, at least for the current window.
The buy-out clause of about €40million will be valid from July. Tottenham, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid remain at the window.
