It promises to be a busy summer for AC Milan Women as they look to improve the squad ahead of the 2022-23 season, in which they will look to build on progress in recent campaigns.

Exits
➤ Laia Codina returned to Barcelona after an excellent season spent on loan with Milan.
➤ Laura Agard did not find an agreement over a renewal. Her future could be abroad (Germany an option).
➤ Linda Tucceri’s future is currently a puzzle. She had a great year, finishing with a goal in the derby against Inter. The parties will meet soon to discuss the possibilities of staying.
➤ Valentina Giacinti will not remain with the Rossonere next season. Roma are on pole (they are counting on the fact of playing the UWCL) and want a permanent deal, while Fiorentina are lurking and hope for a loan.
➤ Refiloe Jane has not found an agreement for the stay. Her future could still be in Italy (not Inter). But watch out for foreign opportunities (she has a market).
➤ Giorgia Miotto could be sent out on loan, to grow and find more playing time.
➤ Celeste Boureille, who exploded in her last two league matches (2 goals), returns to America after her loan ended.
➤ Reflections underway for the future of Noa Selimhodzic. With the women’s first team she found little space but showed great potential in the Primavera (decisive goal in Sassuolo and assist in Vismara against the Neroverdi among others). There is the idea of a loan – decision after the play-offs.
➤ The future of Serena Cortesi must also be evaluated as she could go on loan for a year. Three teams want her: Sampdoria, Brescia and Pomigliano.
Signings
➤ Silvia Rubio Avila is a target. The Madrid CFF midfielder appears to have great room for growth and would offer Maurizio Ganz a valuable alternative. Negotiation in an advanced state but not yet closed. There is confidence.
➤ Chante Domping could arrive from Empoli. She is a winger able to adapt also as a striker but it all depends on the player given the problem with her cruciate ligament that will force her to remain in the pits for at least another two months.
➤ Selena Babb is moving towards a renewal. The Dutch goalkeeper could sign for another year.
➤ Christy Grimshaw is now one step away from extending her contract until 30 June 2024.
➤ Valeria Pirone is currently only a hypothesis. The player has been proposed to several top Italian clubs (contract expiring June 2022 with Roma). Fiorentina on pole.
➤ There is real interest in Kamila Dubcova. Negotiations are in an embryonic stage but Milan want the midfielder as she did not find an agreement for a renewal with Sassuolo. Her twin sister Michaela may also be in the deal.
➤ Concrete confirmations also on the possible arrival of Noemi Carage, a full-back from Dijon. Negotiation in an advanced state.
Certainties
➤ Valentina Bergamaschi is the captain of this team, she has regained the fame and determination of a few seasons ago. She is reborn from all points of view and is an irremovable pivot in the chessboard of the AC Milan team.
➤ Martina Piemonte and Alia Guagni arrived amid physical doubts and performances, they have extinguished every dilemma and have won a starting place in this team by right. Both key players in the Rossoneri locker room.
➤ Giuliani has a contract in place until 30 June 2024, while Greta Adami has a contract expiring on 30 June 2023.
Doubts
➤ Lindsey Thomas’ contract expires on 30 June 2023. She has scored 16 goals in total this season and produced 5 assists in 32 appearances. She is considered a key player by Milan but is sought after by many clubs. The offers are not lacking.
➤ Nina Stapelfeldt has a contract until June 2023, but her stay is far from certain. The club are also studying other profiles.
