After Morata’s word on Saturday night, both Sky Italia and Milannews.it report that talks for the Spaniard have cooled down, as Milan are looking at their alternatives.
In fact, Sky Italia claim that several important meetings for Morata have been cancelled, after the player’s words in an interview after the Champions League final. MilanNews.it also add that Milan are ready for this scenario as they have prepared a list of alternatives, one of them being Andrea Belotti.
Earlier this year, Milan fans started the Twitter hashtag #BelottiMilan, in an attempt to make the Chinese leadership aware of the situation. At least for the moment, it seems to be working. Sky Italia reports that Milan have scheduled a meeting with Torino for Belotti on Tuesday, where the Rossoneri would like to know President Cairo’s opinion on a potential deal.
Another name on Milan’s list of alternatives is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who most likely will leave Dortmund this summer. However, Belotti seems to be ahead of Aubameyang, despite his price.
